Why Rooted? Why Now?

Motherhood is the most universal experience on earth, and one of the most isolating. Every mother knows what it is to feel utterly responsible and entirely alone — the 3 a.m. exhaustion no one sees, the financial pressure, the home that got away from her, the shame of needing help in a culture that tells her she should have it all figured out. All For Moms Foundation exists so no Kansas City mother faces crisis alone.

In 2026, we nearly tripled the number of mothers we served. Our ambition is to keep going — more homes transformed, more mothers in therapy, more diapers and formula and breast pumps and warm clothes handed to families who need them. ROOTED is how we fund that next year of growth.

Who We Serve

Working moms whose hours got cut. New mothers who never got the village they were promised. Foster moms. Grandmothers raising grandchildren. Single moms making impossible choices. Mothers in recovery. Mothers fleeing harm. Mothers who are simply, profoundly, tired. They are your neighbors.

How We Show Up

1

Home Transformations

Through our Mama Missions and Mini Missions, we transform cluttered, overwhelming homes into safe, functional spaces. A reset button for the room, the kitchen, the whole house — whatever the family needs to breathe again. We can help with laundry, decorations, bedding, furniture, and organization.

2

Mental Health Access

We walk mothers through the hard first step of asking for help, and we cover six months of therapy with providers who specialize in postpartum, grief, trauma, and parenting through hard things. Through our partners, we connect moms with the care and support they need to thrive. It takes a village.

3

The Resource Bank

We are the southernmost resource bank for pre- and postpartum care in the greater Kansas City area. Diapers, wipes, formula, breast pumps, maternity clothes, baby clothes, blankets, toys — if a mother and child need it, we have it. No income verification. No appointment required.

By The Numbers

  • 1 in 5 Missouri mothers report symptoms of postpartum depression. Fewer than half receive treatment.

  • Kansas City families with infants spend an average of $90 per week on diapers — a cost no government program covers.

  • Full-time infant child care in metro Kansas City now exceeds the cost of in-state college tuition.

  • Mothers are the primary or sole earner in 41% of households with children under 18 in our region.

What Your Investment Builds

Every dollar raised at ROOTED goes into our Direct Support Fund—a single flexible fund that supports all three arms of our work. Your gift might cover a therapy session this week, a Mama Mission home transformation next month, or a case of formula handed to a mother tomorrow afternoon. We let the mothers tell us what they need, and the fund meets them there.

The Evening

ROOTED: A Gala for All Moms. Friday, May 7, 2027, at Vox Theatre in Kansas City, Kansas — the Friday before Mother's Day. An art showcase at the center of the evening featuring 12 to 15 works by Kansas City artists on the theme of motherhood, growth, resilience, and home. Live and silent auction. A mother's story. Live music. The night Kansas City stands up for its mothers.
