Who can volunteer?

We welcome volunteers aged 16 and older. Men, Women (Mothers & Non-Mothers)! All are welcome.

Sign up below for each mission. You will receive information via e-mail once you submit your RSVP.

You can also join our volunteer list to get notified when a new sign-up becomes available. Click Subscribe to join the village.

We need reliable and safe-driving volunteers who have experience moving or hauling trailers!

Here's what you should know:

Our enclosed trailer is 16ft long by 7ft wide. It has a side door and a ramp-style door on the back.
We have regular and drop-hitches available to borrow. The ball size is 2 5/16.
The trailer weighs approximately 3500-4000 lbs. fully loaded
The trailer itself is fully licensed and insured, but damage to your vehicle would be liable to your car insurance.
Trailer would be moved within the parking lot to our front door OR to a mission location which is all over the KC Metro. We also may have community donation days where furniture is picked up from local residences.
Your mileage and gas are a tax-deductible donation - keep track of your miles for tax time!
A liability waiver is required upon sign-up.

What you can expect when joining our volunteer team:

Sign-up dates/times are released in advance to your e-mail, and you may select dates when you are available.
Slots will always have a window of time, so you have flexibility to deliver the trailer at your leisure within a given time period.
There is a lock box with all the necessary keys and locks to properly unlock and re-secure the trailer.
You'll always have a main contact to call or text if you have any concerns or schedule changes.
