Mission #11

Our June mission on 6/24 could be our largest mission yet! We will be in Overland Park from 9-5 helping a sweet, outgoing Mom make her house a home for her family of 4 kids! This past year, her mom passed away, she then had a baby with a traumatic birth experience & then shortly after that, she moved! To say she has had a lot on her plate is an understatement. She cares for her kids during the day, one of which has autism. In the free time she has, she is the primary caregiver for her grandmother. Her house is still pretty boxed up from when they moved, and they are operating on minimal space & comfort. In her words, "It's hard to want to come home". We are confident that we could transform her home from top to bottom! We need as many volunteers as we can get for this mission! Let's show this family what a real "village" of support is capable of.

This mission is open house style - we'd love to see you all day but if you are only able to attend for a short period of time, that is fine too! We will greet you & get you started when you arrive.

NOTE: There are no pets. There are multiple sets of stairs in the home.
